Lodge - type of accommodation

The lodge is like any of various native American dwellings. Is a small house used as a temporary shelter. It is a small house at the entrance to the grounds of a country mansion. It is usually occupied by a gatekeeper or gardener.
A lodge can be also a detached residence with a group of adjoining single study / bedrooms of uniform style with shared adjacent common areas.

Cottages for accommodation

Cottages are fully furnished for your convenience. Cottages are built recently and they are fully equipped with full size stoves and refrigerators. The cottages have plan like a house allowing you for a comfortable feeling while staying in your vacation. The bedrooms and front room areas all have ceiling fans for your convenience. Have large bathroom with shower allow you for ample room to freshen up prior walk away. In a cottage you will have all linens, dishes, eating utensils and basic cleaning items are included for your use. In a front of the cottages are picnic tables and barbecues. You can find also, if your vacation is short meaning two or three days, cottages with one or two bedroom available for rent at a three night minimum.

Every part of Maui has it's advantages. There is something for everybody on Maui. West Maui, including Kaanapali and Lahaina, offer many advantages to visitors of the "Valley Isle". Kihei offers a more Hawaiian feel and nice beaches. Wailea offers the advantages of posh resorts and a more quiet setting. Maalaea, as you can see from this map, has the advantage of being more centrally located if you plan on doing a lot of traveling. It also offers a quiet and uncrowded setting. West Maui includes the shopping, Front St., and the old whaling town of Lahaina along with the beautiful Kaanapali beach area and Whalers Village. Past that is the resort areas of Honokowai, Kahana, Napili and Kapalua.
